Crystal Palace divers took Sweden by storm by winning five golds in the 31st Lund Club International.  Nineteen divers traveled with many it being their first competition outside of England.

Noah Williams, fresh back from a GB Training camp, showed off his amazing entries by winning two golds in the boys 12/13 years springboard events.

Not to be out done, Palace’s 12 year girls dominated the 3 meter competition with a top three finish. Congratulations to Maria Papworth, Scarlett Mew-Jenson and Ciara McGing who won all three medals respectively.

A further two golds were won by Scarlett in the Girls 12 years 1 meter with a sizable lead of 18 pts and Maddie Sweet with her gold in the Girls 13 years 1 meter.

Our team secured further medals across the boards when Rosie Cardoe came home with a bronze in the international senior platform competition, Maddie added a further silver medal to the haul in the girls 13 years 3 metre as did Maria with her bronze in the girls 12 years 1 meter.

Very close to medals with their 4th places were Tia Monk, Olivia Jones, Isobel Ruff and Amelia Connolly, as was Pele Julian with a 5th in the 12 years boys 1 meter,  just 10 points from bronze.  Florence Smith was so close to a first international medal with a 5th in the girls 12 years 1 metre.  Well done to the rest of the team too.  This was a very enjoyable international with 26 Teams from seven countries. Sadly we missed our Egyptian friends who have been frequent guests to Diving Lund. They couldn’t come this year due to the political situation in their country.
