Kyle Kothari – Honoured as ASA London Diver Of the Year
2014 has been an amazing year for Palace’s Junior diver, Kyle Kothari.
On Monday Kyle was presented with the ASA London Diver of the year by the ASA London President Steve Baker, at a ceremony in Central London.
Chairperson of the ASA London Diving Committee, Jean Cook said. “Kyle’s winning performance at the Junior European Championships in July, was a terrific stand alone result for London. Then Kyle went one better by winning a bronze at the Junior World Championships in Russia, two weeks ago. He is such a remarkable young man who travels 2 hours every day from North West London down to Crystal Palace just to be coached by former top International Chinese diver Xiangyan Kong. On behalf of the ASA London Swimming Region, we are proud to present Kyle with the 2014 London Diver of The Year and also extend our congratulations to Kyle’s coach Xiangyan and Club, Crystal Palace”
After a very short well deserved break of just one week, Kyle will be back to training in preparation for the 2016 Olympic Trials!!!
