Josie Zillig selected onto British Diving development camps

Oct 19, 2017 | News

Josie has suffered many setbacks this year by far the worst recurring ear infections preventing her from training in the pool for several months at a time. As a result of this Josie has not been able to prepare for competitions the way divers traditionally would, by repeatedly practising her list of dives. Instead Josie has prepared for upcoming competitions by practising skill based activities in the dryland area as well as improving her strength in order to prepare for increasing her degree of difficulty in the future. Although Josie has faced setbacks she is yet to miss a training session and has been selected onto a British Diving squad. This will entail the regular attendance to training camps around the country and will also allow British Diving to constantly monitor Josie’s progress and select her for junior international competitions.
