Crystal Palace won all three titles at this year’s England Talent Games in Leeds last weekend. The Girls Team beat Southend with 102 pts to 71 with Sheffield taking third on 57pt.
The Boys Team was a closer call with Crystal Palace taking first on 69 pts to Sheffield 50 pts and Southend’s 49pts
The Overall Team Trophy was won comfortably on a 51 points lead by the nineteen diver strong Palace team with 171 pts, 2nd was Sheffield with 120 pts and 3rd Southend on 105 pts. The eight top England Talent funded teams took part.
In the Girls 9 years and under: Callie Eaglestone won silver after finishing top in the prelims. Her team mate Evie Smith qualified for the final in second and finished the competition in the top six.
In the Boys 9 and under: Noah Payne and Jack Scaafsmaa place just out of the medals in 4th and 5th after qualifying in 2nd and 3rd. William Burk finished 9th in his first “big” competition
In the Girls 10 and over our team took four of the six final spots. Betty Burke won the National Title with Louise Bradly, Annabel Triggs and Anais Daley-Gourdialsing taking 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. We had a further nine other placings. Saskia Sinfield 10th, Lucy Sefton 11th, Jada Umo 12th, Chloe Hembry 14th, Heidi Florian-Stargard 15th, Georgia Velasco 16th, Isobel Nelson 18th, Cerys Carter 25th and Georgia Howeld 31st.
In the Boys 10 and over our only competitor, Pele Julian took the bronze medal after finishing first in the preliminaries
