Chen is the Club's Head Coach.  He is Great Britain's 2004 & 2008 Olympic Coach. Chen is recognised as one of the World's Best!

Chen is formerly from Beijing and produced China's first World Diving Champion (Chen Lin in 1986). In 2000 Chen was Australia's Olympic coach when they won two bronzes, their first medals at the Olympics for 76 years.  On his appointment as the 2004 British Olympic coach, Britain won a silver medal in the Mens 10m Synchro. This was the first British Olympic medal in 44 years.

Chen is now preparing Crystal Palace Elite divers for 2012 Olympics Trials and overseeing the standard of Crystal Palaces Junior Elite programme and the school Talent Teams.
