December Diver of the Month 2012 - Joshua Mewis
Josh has worked extremely hard this month. He has shown improvement in all areas of his diving which was very clear in the winter competition where he won a silver medal in the boys year 5 event. He has also recently learnt his back dive from the 1m and his backfall from the 3m. His coach Natasha says keep up the good work! |
Lucy Sefton - November Diver of the Month 2011
Lucy had 100% attendance tn November. She is an extremely hard worker and a pleasure to coach. This month she learnt a back dive pike from 1 metre. She just missed a medal finishing fourth at the Peter Waterfield competition in Southampton and scored an 8 on her reverse pike sit off poolside. She is working towards reverse dives in the New Year with lots of harness work in the gym. Coach: Chelsea Skeggs

Millie Riley - October Diver of the Month 2011
Millie has been diving for almost a year now and we have seen a huge improvement in the last few months. Millie has outstanding attendance training twice a week and participating in extra training during half term and holiday courses. Her confidence as a diver has grown and she is on track to learn her National Skills and practice for her Level 1 diving badge. Her coaches say she is a pleasure to teach and she is a popular member of the squad. |

Connie and Francesca Deighton - September's divers of the month
Connie and Fran are twins, they have both worked really hard this month to learn back tuck rolls off 3m and a back tuck dives and inward dives on the 1m. This means they now have a complete list of National Skills dives Connie and Fran are excited to be competing in their first National Skills competition on the 8th October in Southampton.
Connie has only just recovered from a broken arm and has worked really hard to learn these divers.
They also both have lovely 'rip' entries on all of their dives.
All the coaches and divers wish them the best of luck for the competition.

Emily Plumpton - August's Diver of the Month
Emily has stood out this month in the Diving Gym and the pool. She only started diving in the pool in May and her confidence has grown dramatically.
Emily is very committed with high attendance in the diving lessons and extra training at the bubble and harness courses.
Emily has learnt several new dives this month including an Inward dive from the 1m springboard, and a back fall on the 2.5m platform.
She is hard working and is always willing to help others. Her coach. Rachael Barnes says she is a pleasure to teach.

Heidi Florian-Stargard - July's diver of the month.
Heidi has stood out this month with her effort in learning and perfecting two new dives. Her entries have started to "rip" and she has been the hardest working in her Team. In the diving gym she has become much stronger and is a popular member of the squad. Heidi is one to watch out for in the future. Her coach said she is an absolute joy to take. |

Florence Smith - June's Diver of the month.
Florence has really stood out in the diving gym and in the pool . She has now learnt all of her National Skills by learning a back tuck roll off the 3 metre. She also learnt an inward dive off the 1 metre. Her attitude and hard work at the training session has paid off and that is why she was the coaches choice for Crystal Palace's June diver of the month.

Betty Burke - May's Diver of the Month 2011
Betty was voted the coaches choice of diver of the month for May. She has achieved all of her National Skills dives in the last few months, over coming her fears and difficulties with back movements. Also, Betty has work very hard at her training sessions and has been a great role model for the rest of the divers in the Team. Well done Betty

Abbey Glynn was chosen by the coaches as April's Diver of the Month. Abbey is 10 yrs old and is coached by Marcin Sedlak.
Abbey has recently been upgraded to the Talent ID Elite teams after conquering her fear of a back dive tucked and qualifying for the National Skills being held in Sheffield at the end of this month. Abbey has a 100% attendance record and is one of the hardest workers in our teams.
